Help us build
our new home.

Glacial Ridge Curling.
A place for everyone.
A place to belong.

Imagine a community space for all seasons. Where teenagers (and their grandparents) can gather to be active, meet new people, and learn the art of sportsmanship.

The New Curling Facility

Take a look at the future of curling—four sheets of ice, seven days a week allow more time for youth, adaptive & family curling and events. We are also adding 18,000 sq ft for regional events and social space for teams and spectators.

Ways To Give

Gifts of all sizes to the Welcome To Our House are welcomed and appreciated. There are several ways in which we honor the generosity of those who give to the campaign. We are grateful for every gift we receive!

Testimonials

Adaptive

“Brian has been involved in the adaptive curling program since it began. Due to his health condition, he has not had many options to play a sport.  Then he discovered curling and is now an important  part of his team. He feels like a rock star when He competes!”

Betty Tersteeg, Brian’s mom

Youth and Schools

“For the past several years, we have brought our 6th grade classes to the Willmar Civic Center to learn about curling. GRC has been great! They donate their time and energy to teach our students how to curl. Our students leave with knowledge of a new sport and a respect for the challenge involved. Most of our students have never had such an experience, and giving them the opportunity to learn a sport that believe that this learning experience should be available to more students in the future.”

Jill Arnold, Montevideo Middle School Teacher

Community

“I think facilities that provide our community with activities are very important for the local economy. The Glacial Ridge Curling  s proposal will not only give Willmar residents a new venue, but it will attract people from the surrounding towns.  I also think that activities make our town more attractive to people considering Willmar for employment.”

Gary Geiger, Community Leader
